🔧 TIMKEN SP940200: Enhanced Performance with Pre-Greased and Pre-Sealed Design Review

Bought a set of these hubs. It took me several weeks to take my truck to the shop to have them installed. Once installed it only took about 2 weeks before they started buzzing very loudly. I took my truck back to the mechanic and he told me they were already worn out and needed a new replacement. My advice: Spend the extra 200 on good ones and avoid the headache and extra expense of replacing them twice.

My Timken bearing has been on my truck for about 18 months without incident. This is a quality camp. The downside is that you either have to re-use your old hub bolts, which is annoying and a hassle unless you have the special tools to remove/install them, or you have to buy new hub bolts (my personal recommendation). Ordered two hubs for my 2009 F350. They corresponded to the exchanged hubs in all respects and I had no problems installing them. The situation is different with the slots for fuse sockets. Both Timkin hubs had tapered splines. The locks only spline about 1/4 inch before tying. Tested with both a truck mounted hub with a half shaft and without a shaft from a bogie, and with both locks. I have a 2008 F250 Super Duty 4X4/6.4 Diesel. I bought two of these assemblies and they arrived 2 days before the promised date. The packaging was very well done so as not to damage the box. Both hubs had bolts and gaskets that were not in the product description. I'm glad they both had these items, but it would be nice to know I didn't purchase them separately and now have to request a refund. Both hubs fit perfectly in my car. installed many of these units, the ABS light came on and stayed on both calipers which were in good condition and never had any problems before replacing this unit other than bad bearings in the old one I took. I went online to find out why this light only came on after replacing this unit.
