Description of Tires for cars Hankook Winter i Pike RS2 W429 R16 205/55 91T spike

Hankook W429 i Pike RS2 The Hankook iPike RS2 winter tire, like the model of the previous generation, is designed for passenger cars. It is characterized by improved traction on slippery surfaces, braking efficiency and reliability in difficult road conditions. Newly developed tread patternThe key difference between this tire and the first generation iPike RS is the tread pattern. Its design remained symmetrical and directional, but the shape, size and arrangement of the elements changed significantly. The central part contains larger intersecting blocks. This noticeably optimizes the distributio...

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

They have proven themselves well. There are such fresh ones on the front axle of the Polo hatchback 11 years old, on the back others and old ones. I took two, now a set. A little dusty, but that's ok. Made in Korea.

Pros
  • Price quality arranged.
Cons
  • Both wheels are 35 weeks 21 years old, a common online sale story.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Pirelli pattern but more spikes, five-pointed star spike like a Michelin reinforced sidewall - be sure to run in at first it seems that the steering kerdyk is floating, but after running in - everything is fine, but they make noise and the spikes row very well.

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

The tires are not misaligned, and the balance loaders weigh only 20 grams apiece and only twice as much as the originals. The first winter on this rubber, very pleased with the zapepom and keeps excellent. Extremely happy with the level of quality!

Pros
  • Excellent snap and command of the situation!
Cons
  • It makes some noise on the pavement, but not nearly as much as other winter tires with spikes do.

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

I decided to purchase the Nordman 5 for my Kia Sid instead of the jd, and it was immediately apparent that the rubber, despite having such a robust studding, is not quite noisy. This is despite the fact that there were practically no spikes left on the Nordman, and yet there was a connection with the road. Prior to this, there were only sensations, while the rubber was very satisfied, and it was worth the money. On February 12, 2019, the mileage on this rubber was almost 4t. Km. at first, of…

Pros
  • Appearance, quiet operation even with brand new tires, handling, and excellent braking and deceleration.

Average purchase, there are some things to complain about.

It seems that the cores of the spikes there are only 3 millimeters long, although I drove carefully (a 4-wheel drive car), there are almost no slippages. I rolled the spikes for thousands of 3 km. , I lost 2 spikes during the whole winter. I can’t put it on next season, although the tires are still like new. Verdict, I won’t buy such a model anymore. Pros below: It holds well on ice, does not make noise, for 20t. Km there is practically no wear of the rubber itself and does not harden in the…

Various advantages: High grade according to the results of tests conducted by ZR magazine and Autoreview, good price to quality ratio, largest number of spikes - appropriate for heavily icy roads with ice The negatives, which are a natural consequence of the pros, include the tire's high level of noise.

The perfect product for any user!

I put it on October 24, a Volvo V60 Cross Country car, size 235 55 17, at the time of writing the review I drove about 200 km in Hong Kong, the weather is warm, I managed to test both on wet (without large puddles) asphalt, and on dry. The driving style is calm. For a very long time I chose winter tires, and as alternatives I considered both studs and Velcro. Chose from Michelin, Good Year and Gislaved There were 3 reasons to opt for Hankook: 1. Prior to this (previous car) operated Hankook…

Pros
  • Pretty quiet On dry and wet asphalt they ride almost like summer PRICE!
Cons
  • They just don't exist!

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

ate in 3 seasons! I really like this rubber! Soft, does not tan, ice and uphill - rows and rides, does not blunt in deep snow, spikes do not fly out, really quiet (compared to other compeors), I do not observe wear ! I was very disappointed that there is no 20th radius ! I wanted to buy this rubber for another car, now I'm g with a choice . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (before that, there was a pirelli ice zero r16 - a strong solid rubber with excellent handling in any weather, but terribly noisy) Good…

Pros
  • R19 245/45 has already driven about 2200 km (all the spikes are in place) - it is very quiet and soft, climbs easily and without slipping on an icy road uphill at 10-15 degrees. It snows well, it’s hard to break into a skid because it clings well to snow porridge and ice, on dry pavement I didn’t notice that the rubber floats as they wrote in other comments, with my radius and width it stands rooted to the spot even in a rut both in plus and minus temperature, pleasantly slaps at the joints, it seemed to me that my summer Continental works harder at the joints. Went 4 season on these tires! Very satisfied! Spikes do not fly out, rowing in the snow and ice! There were several very dangerous situations on the roads, the tires did not disappoint (emergency braking and collision avoidance)! He was right, the rubber is really soft and quiet (many people write that studded tires cannot be quiet, maybe ! Summer Kama is 3 times noisier! )
Cons
  • 1) An unpleasant sediment remained from the fact that after 1200 km it flew into the hole of the cut piece of asphalt prepared for laying new asphalt - the disc pierced 2 cord threads due to which a hernia came out. Compared to pirelli ice zero, the sidewall is many times softer once flew into such pits and with this rubber for 3 winters nothing happened at all. But maybe it's only my fault and the impact was really stronger than on the pirelli and also the height of the profile on the pirelli 65, which is much more than the 45 on the hankook. 2) It also seemed that the rubber wiggles a little and the braking distance is a little longer than on the same pirelli during emergency braking (keep your distance - you will be safer) ate after 3 years of operation on dry pavement, when braking, a small roll and a longer braking distance (compared to summer tires), but everything is predictable and nothing critical! No more hernias popped up. The one I wrote about was sealed with a patch (now it doesn’t stick out at all)
