Works well and is easy to use

This is just what I need to get "close enough" when reloading ammo. For the price and design, I'm not sure if this is the most accurate of them all, but it's a reliable and easy-to-use product. The hinge on the case broke shortly after I received it, but I glued it on and moved on. never mind

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

don't work for me suitable for digital calipers

Bought to replace the caliper I use when setting the landing stamps on the heat press. Multiple measurements of the same reloaded cartridge give an overall length that varies within 0.007 (0.003 is acceptable). They were instructed to measure five times and use the average. I scraped them off and went back to old school.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

Dead Battery - Brake Calipers

This seems like a good product although I received it with a dead battery too. I noticed the caliper was on when I took it out of the case the next day. That's why everyone with a dead battery gets it. The on/off switch is in a position where it is activated when the caliper is in the case and the case is moved (e.g. during transport). I put a few pieces of foam inside the body to keep the power button from activating when the caliper is pushed into the body.
