Not very powerful for heat guns

This heat gun is not very powerful. I tried using it on marine shrink wrap and it was overkill. It took 5 minutes to heat up and shrink 2 square feet.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Hard to say

Do not use for window tinting

This is a waste of almost $70 for window tinting. I don't even understand how it can be used for this. Maybe I bought a broken block, but man.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

almost as little heat as a hair dryer

This gun wouldn't shrink the shrink wrap we use if we didn't use a disposable propane tank for every square foot of plastic.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Cheaper than analogue

Cheaper than a comparable product. Sometimes you have to press the button to make it light up. However . 1 year left. Not bad for the price considering I use it 10-15 times a week

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Minor problems

Don't waste your money

I ordered 3 and each arrived either broken or not working. Requesting an exchange for another one doesn't work either. I wouldn't waste another penny on that statement.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Negative is present

This is the second one I have received. I use .

This is the second one. I use it instead of an electric heat gun. It works as advertised. I even prefer it to an electric heat gun now. I only needed the second because the first was stolen.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Write later

need a portable heat gun

I need a portable heat gun without exposure to flame. That's it! It's hotter than my electric and really blows the heat out. I've tried Milwaukee and Dewalt portable cordless heat guns, they're terrible. A very small volume of air so the heat is about 1 inch away and that's it.

Pros
  • soldering and soldering accessories
Cons
  • ugly packaging

Excellent temperature for testing a fire alarm heat detector

It was a little difficult to set up initially but has fired on the first try ever since. Excellent temperature for testing fire detectors. At around 16 inches, it's fairly hot on your hands, but not hot enough to melt or burn plastic. As good or better than a painter's heat gun at a hardware store, but not as high as a high powered commercial heat gun.

Pros
  • Heat guns
Cons
  • Very expensive
