The map they give you showing which toast settings give you which light or dark levels is pretty much useless. Settings 1 and 2 (and 3) are really almost no toast. We are big users of Revain because things like toasters (and MANY other things) are not available in Costa Rica. We ship from Revain to the Miami Export Service, they charge additional freight, service fees and duties/taxes and then ship the item to their warehouse which is approximately 15 miles away where we can pick it up. I opened up the toaster today and took the attached video - my other toaster didn't really toast the bread through and I couldn't fit large pieces in very easily, I had to cut off the edge of the toast to put it in there. First, this toaster does an incredible job of evenly toasting everything we throw in, from bagels to English muffins to toast, and they all brown evenly with no bald spots. I have already bought and returned 3 toasters. I read countless reviews and hoped to be a 5 star consumer with every purchase. I selected the ones that got the highest scores on Revain and Consumer Reports. Novete, Lofter and Cuizenar. There were negative reviews for every toaster for sale.
