Didn't know how to rate this as a Null. The result is NOT a side hopper, although the picture shows it clearly. They came in a plastic bag that said "Sidehopper Tool Tron" but it was NOT. To return.

I really, really wanted to love these tiny embroidery machines. I opened this package and loved them at first. They cut transition stitches very close to the design. Woo hu. It is great! BUT. After about a week of use, the blades stuck together. I managed to peel the blades off, but this happened twice more. I am very shocked! This might be the best embroidery scissors ever!

I am a bit upset about this review. I received these little scissors and although they cut the threads it feels like cutting sand, all the feeling of grinding and just not a great product. However, I had the opportunity to get a second pair from someone else and this pair is beautiful. Cuts nice and straight. If the return window hadn't closed, they would have returned. So I think the most important thing is if you feel someone has used them to cut glass, send them back.

I love this tool. It really helps with trimming transition chains in my machine embroidery. It should be noted that to cut the cord very close to the fabric you need to hold the side funnel vertically straight up with the blades pressed against the fabric. Quickly and firmly squeeze the two handles and it will be a clean cut.
