I have used 3/16" and 3/8" chamfers on concrete countertops with excellent results. My countertops are made from recycled fiberglass and have had no problems cutting. /glass grinding. Note that they leave a rough surface that needs further finishing with fine grit polishing pads.

With little technique, this is a great tool for adding a beveled edge. Burn marks or scratches can appear on the quartz if you spin one of the smooth ball bearing guides quickly with the diamond bur. (It might have been better if the top rail was plastic, otherwise there probably wouldn't be as deep scratches) but I've found that a slight 1-2 degree raising eliminates almost all of these issues. .
