#8 wood Countersink. This product is highly durable. This product is manufactured in China. Tapered drill with widened flutes for drilling fast, clean pilot holes and ensures tight fit for screws. Adjustable four-cutter counter bore cuts and clears chips quicker for fast, smooth countersinking. Counter bore attaches to flats on shank with two hex screws for a secure fit and can be adjusted for controlled pilot hole depth. 1/4" quick-change shank reduces slipping in standard chucks and is compatible with all 1/4" quick-change chucks, including impact drills.

Waste of Money good for me

After I put it to the test, I was extremely disappointed with this industrial drill bit. Despite the advertised countersinking capabilities, it was difficult to create a clean and even countersink. The bit didn't seem to hold up well under extended use and became dull quickly.

breaks too easily fits drill parts and accessories

breaks too easily. I ended up returning the item as it broke on the first two uses. I decided to go back to the ones I bought from a home store which tend to last a lot longer.

Now you can expect a little better quality from Irwin

I have been building cabinets for 22 years. I purchased #8 and #10 of these items and within 3 uses the 'quick change stem' started to work. slipped and completely detached from both instruments. Now expect a little better quality from Irwin. I will NEVER EVER buy another Irwin instrument and make sure the big hospital my nephew works at stops buying Irwin instruments too!
