not bad, not bad for measurement and layout tools

I have had steel for many years and it has been strong. In comparison, aluminum looks brittle. Although this is a compromise. Do you want lightness and resistance to corrosion? Then this is for you. But I will keep it and continue to use it.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

It's really a great tool for the price

It's a really great tool for the price. I had a much more expensive T (designed for drywall) and was trying to use it to mark plywood, but wasn't happy that things didn't match. It turns out that Drywall T isn't perfectly square. This is a carpenter's square and as the name suggests it uses true right angles. It came exactly as advertised and arrived on time in undamaged condition.

Pros
  • So far I'm satisfied
Cons
  • I'll write later

I was hoping to get an aluminum angle with numbers engraved in black as shown in the picture. This is aluminum, the numbers are engraved but there is no black in the engraved numbers. The photo is deceptive. I suspect that a commercial photographer who saw the silver on a silver engraving fading under many lighting conditions used very flat lighting to emphasize the engraving. This caused it to appear black in the photo. Basically it's silver on silver.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things
