Wow! My 16 month old grandson loves it. I tied a smaller block to one end, gave a quick demonstration of how to use it, and this activity caught his attention like no other! My only suggestion is that the hole at the caterpillar's head should be just slightly larger. This is the only block that sticks a little to the safety catch; all other blocks slide smoothly. This is a high quality product suitable for toddlers. Highly recommended!

Bought for my 20 month old grandson and he loves it! He brings it to me so I can play along. He likes to string pieces together on a thread and name colors or shapes. We're working on numbers. I wish there was a stopper on one end so he could rock it on the floor once all the pieces are in place, but a safety latch in the middle is a great idea. I'm giving 5 stars because I don't think my only complaint really matters. I think this is a great product. The quality is really good. This reinforces the study of numbers, shapes and colors in addition to the practice of lacing. My daughter loves the caterpillar.
