Very reliable DAC, suitable for amplifier

This DAC has received good reviews from many audio reviewers. The DAC is well made and I've never had any problems with it. If you prefer a pure delta-sigma DAC, you can't go wrong with the D70s in my opinion.

Pros
  • β™« Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC transmission: The D70s is Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC certified. It adopts CSR8675 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/APTX/APTX LL/APTXHD protocol.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

What is the update (update)

I gave this 5 stars when I first got the D70s. A few months later. Nevertheless 5 stars. I stream from my desktop system through the top D10 and then through the Filo BAT30 to the D70. It's great for daily streaming and listening.

Pros
  • β™« Topping D70s MQA DAC: It uses 2x AK4497, 1x AK4118 receiver. D70s uses CPLD. The USB input supports MQA decoding. It has multiple USB Bluetooth IIS Coax OPT-AES inputs. Remote control.
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

It's about execution.

I have a lot of DACs and will probably have more in the future. This DAC outperforms most of my other R2R/DS DACs, some of which cost over 4x the price of this DAC. At this price this DAC is better than my SMSL M400, my Denafrips Ares II and my Topping D90. If that DAC sounds anything but great on your system, then the problem is with the rest of the signal chain in your system, but definitely not with that DAC. /OS is of secondary importance, but the actual design and implementation makes a…

Pros
  • β™« Selectable output port: The D70s has a fully balanced XLR output and an unbalanced RCA output. You can select XLR Only, RCA Only, or XLR+RCA output to accommodate different usage in multiple systems.
Cons
  • Can't remember
