My favorite yoghurt making tool. makes it easy to stir the yogurt while bringing it up to pre-incubation temperature, I can check the temperature and stir at the same time which is really nice. The digital display does fog up though, so I don't think it will last long. It's still legible when it's foggy, but it's annoying.

I LOVE this! Would recommend to anyone who needs a good, accurate cooking thermometer! I am very happy with this purchase! Now in my second year of using it for making candy, it's still very accurate! Just in case, I order more as it's a lot easier to cook! I don't have to worry about the candy thermometer touching the bottom of the pot.

Suitable for jams without pectin. It's a lot easier than trying to juggle a thermometer while stirring. It's also a lot easier than doing tests with a spoon because you never have to stop stirring. I like the size for making jam. It's beautiful and Ling helping with the splashes. I was concerned about cleaning the small holes that the probe fits in, but the straw brush fits in just fine.

Fairly good. I've used it to temper chocolate and found it to be quite accurate. With the exception of chocolate, it can solidify around the thermometer and then won't read the temperature accurately until you peel it (I only scratched it with a knife to peel the chocolate). on either side of the thermometer shaft if it appeared to be covered). It should be 6 inches longer as it really needs to be kept under the display. Holding it by the display part, your hand covers the display and you can turn off the device by pressing the button. You can also detach the thermometer part from the spoon part. Keep it lower and you're only left with a mixing spoon that is 9 inches or less. It seems to do a pretty good job of preventing fogging. Maybe we got lucky with that part.

After reading the reviews I tightened the temp sensor a bit to get the temp accurately. The tip should just be visible through the window. It is absolutely necessary to temper chocolate. Once you use it, you'll count on getting great results! My chocolate is perfectly tempered. It is easy to clean and feels good in the hand. I wish the spatula wasn't so hard, but it's awesome! I also buy for my family.
