Best level when something you are leveling like PVC is high and dark. The fact that it's magnetic makes it even better than it is. The only complaint is that the width is too long, but that's probably because it has to be long to fit everything.

Very disappointed with this product. I was very excited when I got the torpedo level. I have one and needed an extra one. As soon as I opened it, I was very disappointed that there was very little liquid in one of the bottles. Makes it really difficult to level things up. I will not buy again!

I'm so impressed with this level! The magnet is strong and the spirit level itself is very durable. I love the lighting function! I've seen in other reviews that the light wasn't very bright, but my light is as bright as it should be. Plus, it fits perfectly in my "garbage box"! I have many small instruments and have never been disappointed.

I work in the pipe shop and I work in poorly lit areas all the time. I bought this level because of its luminosity. The level worked great. Well lit, easy to read. My issue is that when I accidentally dropped it from waist height, the plastic battery cover ripped, preventing the batteries from staying in place. I gave this low rating because I am disappointed with the cheap design from a very reputable tool maker, especially at this price point for a torpedo level.

Very handy little level! Even though it's small, the features more than make up for it. Very strong and durable, etched edges to ensure it stays in place when in use. Features grooves on the long edge that also aid in aligning the tubes. There's a backlight (batteries included!), but not very bright. It required turning off all the lights in the room before we could even see a faint glow, and I wondered why a person would align in total darkness. Other than that, it's great!

Okay so I read the negatives first. and I'm sorry things like this happen when you buy online, it's very frustrating. This has to be the most bizarre level I've ever seen! The milled blank feels really great in the hand and the weight of the thing was actually quite unexpected. It's no doubt due to the powerful magnets that really make this thing stick to ferrous metals like glue. As a sprinkler installer, I use a level every day and this is by far the best I've ever used. The bottles are larger than usual for those with low vision, the magnets are fixed so they don't fall out like they're glued in, and the paint really pops out so you're less likely to leave them on what you're aiming for. When I'm working in low light and trying to line up a piece of spacer or piping, this thing has saved me more than once. The magnets are incredibly strong. On flat surfaces, the spirit level needs to be tilted sideways to break the magnetic attraction and lift it up!
