🔧 TORQ200 Backing Plate (5 Inch) for Torq TORQ22D Review

I used this to replace my new Maxshine skid plate straight out of the box as it was clearly warped. This base plate offered a large clearance to the dust cover of my Maxshine!

Works great on my Harbor Freight Bauer polisher. I bought it used and it looks like new, the packaging was damaged that's all. I saved $6 by buying it this way.

Good quality, looks good. Only used once, no problems! Bought to replace my 6" base plate, now I have to buy 5" washers to fit better!

Very strong DA 5” heel counter. I've ridden it with different pads and they hold up well. I prefer the Americana Global 5 inch vented pads as the holes align perfectly and they stay cooler. I also run a record washing machine mod.

So far so good. It connects to my Bauer HF polisher which is why I bought it as that polisher comes with a 6" pad and all my Lake Country pads are 5". I've only used it once but it's great. Quite difficult to remove the pads after use so they definitely fit well!

Used on a Shurhold 3500 and Bauer and will fit perfectly replacing a 6" base plate. So far it's been solid. Worth use and a few cars Interchangeable pads with little wear Pads fit perfectly, easy to put on and take off but not too easy. No wash mod is required for polishers either.

This base plate seems to be of excellent quality. I can confirm it fits Bauer 6 In. 7.5A Dual Action Orbital Polisher (Model #56367) from Harbor Freight with no problems and no modifications for installation. I've polished a few slabs and so far it's working great. I use it with Meguiar's microfiber pads and my black color looks better than ever. I can't compare this to a standard 6" backing plate on a buffing machine, I haven't tried it as I don't have any 6" pads other than the one supplied…

I originally gave this version one star because it clearly doesn't fit my CG Torq 10FX. Well, that's because it's not designed for that. CG makes one, DA R5. Guilty. I've ordered the correct one and it's on the way, should fit with no problems as I already have the 5" version. Some complained that the required screw was not included in the kit.
