I used this to replace the hard drive in my Dell MFP. This drive uses 10% more power than the original, no problem. (By default, Windows 10 analyzes and defragments the hard drive while it is in sleep mode, making the computer unresponsive and unusable. First Toshiba customer here. I have had about 4 Seagate drives and they were all SUPER loud, but I was pleasantly surprised at how QUIET this drive is! I seriously don't understand why people don't use these laptop drives in mid tower gaming pc, I've had so many bad experiences with 3.5 inch hard drives. It's fast and inexpensive. Works well with almost any laptop that uses a standard 2.5" 7mm SATA hard drive. You can't help but like a 500GB drive at this price point.
