Toshiba SD4100 and Toshiba SD4300.

I've had Toshiba for about 8 years now. I just love Toshiba SD4100. All the toys are with him. I mostly use it for JPEG CDs that I download to my computer. This allows my whole family to view family photos. I bought it new from Aldi in 2007. I have never had any problems with Toshiba - sd4100. I just bought a Toshiba SD4300 used on 2-5-20015. Expect arrival in the next few days. I have the same features as Toshiba sd4100. I like the zoom and photo viewer on the player. Now I will have two DVD…

  • This is great

Save money don't buy a Toshiba SD4100

I bought a Toshiba SD4100 about 8 months ago. During this time, six DVDs and 1 CD were played. I bought several DVDs from Amazon. Now I have time, I unpacked the 1st DVD, opened the disc player, pulled it out and I'm waiting for it to load and I'm waiting and waiting and nothing. I'm an idiot, I thought maybe the new DVD was bad. I took several DVDs that I had previously watched and put them in one at a time and the results were the same. I know it's easy and not very expensive, but I figured I

As others have said, skip this piece of junk

I have to admit right away that I didn't pay much for this device. But since I didn't want to give my daughters expensive DVD players, I bought two of them. One is working fine so far. The other not at all. About two months after purchase - during a very flimsy 90-day warranty (but I don't know how short for me at the time) - the audio on the other device began to kick in. After a short use it went off completely. I swapped the cables but it didn't help. The problem was clearly with the DVD…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Do not buy on TV and video

This player has problems skipping the terminal. I bought this item to replace another Toshiba DVD player which after about two years started refusing to play most of my discs and often stopped midway when playing (after two years I wasn't heartbroken , because this player cost the same as the one, so I think it was worth it). It must be said that the same night I tried this new model for the first time, I went back to the old, broken one. I've only played or attempted to play two relatively new

Pros
  • It's all right!
Cons
  • Dear

I have three of these and what I use them for perfectly. I just had one and the fact is that the optical sensor for the device is really expensive! You buy a new one for $30, a used one, or 60 new ones, or whatever, and they want to sell you a replacement optical board for $100? I like my device because it reads all DVDs from all over the world as well as CDs. But you would think Tashiba would be in a slightly better class if they sold you a pickup board at a lower price? 100 dollars! not even…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

do yourself a favor Don't buy this.

I used to think Toshiba products were of the highest quality. I have a Toshiba 2 disc DVD player that is 10 years old and it still works as well as the day I bought it. After my experience with the Toshiba SD-4100, Toshiba's understanding of quality was completely shaken. It's clear that the Toshiba SD-4100 is a budget DVD player and shouldn't have unreasonably high expectations. However, you should think that a DVD player should last at least 1 year or so with normal use. Unfortunately, this…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
