Good product! - Other sports

Bought these to trim our pets hooves. They are really sharp and do a great job. Pretty easy to use for me as I sometimes have to do it with one hand. They are heavy and durable. I can recommend these hoof trimmers.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

They are good at equestrianism

Overall these are regular wire cutters. They're not very sharp and the handles seem to flex a bit, but as long as you're not shooting tons at the wall, they work. You pay for what you get; More expensive trimming tools are better quality, end of story.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Very useful tool in equestrian sport

Need a new pair of wire cutters but no money at the moment to buy a (much) more expensive brand that I usually use in my forge (20 years old) I found that these are from Tough-1. I was skeptical but wanted to see them and ordered them. I liked the quality of their workmanship, although they did need to be sharpened before use (they sharpened well). The clamping surface still helps the sharp edge well and they "grind" very well. I would recommend them to budget smiths or those just starting out.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Great for the layman

Not sure how they compare to a pro pair for $200+ but didn't want to spend that amount considering this is my first Time is that I cut my hair and I only have my only horse to trim. Let me also mention that I am almost 9 months pregnant and will do the trimming because my horses' hooves looked horrible under the trimmings of my last farrier. I had no problem cutting off the thick wall of my horses. They were sharp enough to work fast and the action was smooth with just the right amount ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
