The vertical members do not extend up and down far enough to hold the unit in place, especially when hung from a rafter less than 2" thick.

Very good hook for whatever you want to hang. I use the small and large versions on the outside of my stable for my grooming bag, bridle, keys, coat, halter etc. The hooks seem very strong and the pink color is lovely. While that doesn't bother me, I should note that the small and large hooks I received were slightly different shades of pink.

I really like these hooks. They hang over the box dividers so I can hang and keep clean all my bridles and halters. They fit even better in a 2X4 fence, but even work through narrower stall dividers. The plastic coating prevents rust and keeps the stickiness clean. Good product and buying for the extra price makes them even better.

I bought 2 of these to hang over the vinyl railing that surrounds my pool gear so I can hang the skimmer horizontally on the railing. I expected that I would probably have to send them back, but it was worth it. Well they match the fence perfectly and the skimmer matches the hook part perfectly. Seriously, it's like these hooks were made specifically for that. When does this happen in real life? I may need a life, but it's made me damn happy! I realize this is a pretty specific usage so overall
