Practice Management Software (PMS) is software used to track patient data, such as appointments, labs, prescriptions, etc.

I've worked with a lot of practice management systems over the years and TPS is by far the best. It has all the features I need, is intuitive to use and offers great reporting tools. The customer service is excellent and has a very responsive and helpful team. My one complaint would be that it does not offer an API or SDK so you could build your own custom modules using its capabilities. Also there seems to be no integration between it's various applications (e.g., EMR). However this was my…

Pros
  • The dashboards are quite nice.
  • Easy to create reports, it's got plenty of them.
  • Good documentation for every aspect of the system.
Cons
  • Data collection in hospitals is really difficult and expensive.
  • The amount of training required to make sense of the system is pretty high, although it gets better over time.
