It serves its purpose as a stool in the shower to rest your foot on to shave your legs. And I wanted something more attractive than just a cheap plastic stool, so this one fits better! It's definitely not a sitting chair and can wobble a bit at times, but like I said, it does the job.

I have a shower stall with no ledge or seat so it has become dangerous to shave my legs. I wanted something that wasn't plastic, looked decent and could handle being in the water from time to time. It was a good price compared to the teak stools (I mean have you seen how much they cost?). This is the perfect height to support your leg while shaving. While it'll probably hold me up, it's too short to sit on (a foot off the floor, for example) so I don't recommend it as a regular shower seat…
