Returned for children's accessories

Not suitable for 20 inch bikes. They MIGHT be big enough, but they wouldn't attach to the wheels. We returned them. (Although returning it was easy.)

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Weight

The roads in my area are pretty muddy

I bought the full Trail Gator kit. When towing my son on the street it vibrates, the bolts get lost and fall back and while my son is riding it they loosen and he falls. The roads in my area are pretty confusing, they seem to work well on sidewalks.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Some bugs

so much hope for a crappy product

These training wheels were not tightened enough to stay upright. They leaned further back. Also, the wheels adjust up and down, which I liked at first, but when my son rode, they slid up so he just fell over because he wasn't ready to lift them that high yet. I had 3 different people tighten them as tight as possible and they still slipped off when he drove. In addition, the rubber on the wheels began to chip off. We've only had them a few weeks. Very disappointed.

Good product for sports

These training wheels are very good. They come with nuts and knobs for two different thread sizes and fit bikes with a straight horizontal rear wheel mount or an angled rear wheel mount. The tilt feature is great when used with the TrailGator (Trail-Gator Trailgator Bicycle Tow Bar). The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't straighten one wheel like the other. I don't think this is intentional. It seems that the bracket is slightly shifted in the direction of tightening the nut on the…

The quality is good, but I didn't really need it.

I bought the Trail Gator before I got my son a bike and I don't think I'll ever use it. Pros: 1. These training wheels are higher quality than the ones that came with my son's bike.2. The system works well and eliminates the need for tools to remove the training wheels. Cons: 1. Due to the decorative chain guard on the 16 inch CARS bike, they will not fit without modification. I found the training wheels that came with the bike to be very easy to remove and flip. Although the standard training…

like things. I bought these training wheels together.

These training wheels should get less than 2 stars but at least they are metal. like things. I bought these training wheels alongside the Trailgator handlebars. Both products claim to be compatible with 12" wheels but all of the hardware supplied does not fit the standard 9/16" axle/nut that comes with most department store bikes, the hardware supplied was too large. . With hardware that didn't fit the bike, I did everything I could to make it work and used the hardware that fell off the bike…
