Based on the quality of the leather and fittings I think it deserves 5 stars

Impeccable quality. I have two smaller puppies (7lbs each) and this leash was too heavy for them so had to return. Based on the quality of the leather and hardware I think it deserves 5 stars. This is a harness that will last for years.

Leash for Life: Training Leashes

Such a good leash. I'm as picky as can be and I complain about everything and this leash is amazing, so well made. Made for a small dog, but also suitable for a large dog. If someone were to buy a thicker version of this I'm sure it would fit the largest of the dogs. Very pleasant feel, very good brass clasp without sharp edges and large thumb loop for loosening. Very convenient!

Not used but impressed with the leather quality for my very small dog. Leash for everyone! The brass component is a bit dated, but it goes well with the rugged look. In this skin, all the imperfections of the material and workmanship look good! Bought two by mistake but kept the second one. The smell is strong, perhaps for some dog owners, but perfectly acceptable for anyone who owns a business and tends to an old-fashioned, rough, rustic style. The length is great. I plan to use the other one…

Leash for life

Good lines but very light

These are nice long lines. appears to be well built and they were delivered quickly. The only reason I'm giving it less than 5 stars is because it's very stretchy. I am walking a beagle who is of course busy 'chasing' the spooky 'wabbits' we have. I was a little surprised and concerned at how much this leish stretches. I'll probably look for another one made out of thicker leather that doesn't feel like rubber. If you have a dog that treats nicely when you walk next to you, you will love this…
