Tranesca Bluetooth Adapter Receiver for Bose Sounddock and Other 30-Pin Music Docking Stations Review

It is very easy to use. Works with my Bose and while I was hoping it would work with my old Zune Kicker it's still great. I actually worked with the kicker, so I still use it, but not in the traditional sense. Worked with my 30 pin and the sound was great. A small device that does a great job!

This is about the fourth Bluetooth adapter I've tried. The rest were hit or miss communications. Sometimes I had to play around with other adapters to get them working. It got to the point where I stopped using Sounddock. This one worked right out of the box, it worked and stayed connected.

I tried this little bluetooth adapter on my old iLive dock which doesn't support bluetooth and has a 30 pin connector. I don't use it anymore for that reason, but I plugged this little adapter in and paired it with my iPod and it works great converting my speaker to bluetooth. Tranesca makes very good and functional devices.

Bad reviews. Were trying out several systems. No way. It seems to connect but can't play any sound. Please prove me wrong. There are few resources for troubleshooting a silent connection situation. I feel like I wasted $ and time. No "cruel" quality control if something doesn't work. Or, if I can't figure it out, then we can say that the item or technology is not intuitive. Conclusion: Not suitable for the purpose. Do not buy.

This product is great. After owning a BOSE SoundDock, one of the most inconvenient things about upgrading was changing the charging port. That meant the phone upgrade resulted in me losing my expensive sound system. This is no longer the case and this product was able to breathe new life into an old but still great product. With the ability to have Bluetooth connectivity instead of using a 30-pin connector, the SoundDock can be used with any type of phone, or even multiple. What a great idea!

I have an old Pioneer speaker with an Apple 30-pin docking station. Unfortunately it didn't work with this speaker (model XW-NAC1-K) but it already has Bluetooth so it's not a problem. I also have an old Belkin dock with a speaker jack to connect to my stereo and it worked great. Very easy to use even without instructions. Too bad. I really wanted it to work. Pairing takes forever and once it does there is no sound from the audio dock. The red and blue LEDs will blink 3 times in a row, then stop and blink 3 times again. It goes on and on. Okay, maybe my Bose Soundock is to blame. I have to say I have not tried any Tranesca product that has not worked perfectly. They must have brutal quality control because every little device I've tried has been flawless. This product converts my small JBL speaker from something that only fits in an old style 16 pin iPod connection to a Bluetooth connection.
