Okay, I ordered this in an xtra large and I'm glad I did. First, because it seems to run a bit small. Second because even if it were true to size you want to order a size or two up with this type of garment because it will STILL hold you in without giving you pneumonia (yes it really happens) or pushing on your organs (that happens too. "Firm control” is stretching it. Minimal control. Plastic ribbing bends and creates pockets while bending, making it appear larger than before. I have control tank tops that offer better control than this

I took a chance on this because there was no real sizing listed. The size XXL fit me (size 20W in most tops and pants), but it does not feel like "firm" control. It is comfortable to wear, easy to flex and bend while wearing it, no sensation of unpleasantness. Kind of like a tight t-shirt might feel. I'm 5'2". When I tried it on while standing I was super comfortable and it fit well. I had it for months before I actually used it. The moment I got in the car and sat down I was being stabbed by the ribs into my ribs and hips so bad I had to remove it immediately. Extremely painful for my short torso when sitting!
