Do the Algeria Traq shoes I already own have a plastic/rubber strip? It was above the white part of the bottom edge. The new changes removed that part, and the water poured right in as you stepped on a barely damp surface. The changes also added a sock-like upper to put your foot in and it's a bit tight on my instep and at the end of the day it makes my legs uncomfortable and reduces blood flow so much my feet get cold. I love shoes from this company. You are so comfortable. This is my second pair. I love that I can accurately track my steps on my phone while still feeling comfortable. They are very light and I wear them almost every day. I work in law enforcement and need comfortable shoes when I work a lot. I will definitely buy a third pair for training. UPDATE: I had to return them because for some reason a boot broke and the plastic strap was cut at the top of my foot. . Too bad I couldn't get them to work, I've only worn them 2 times. If you have a high instep, you might want to skip them. I wanted these shoes to work! I bought these assuming they were similar to other shoes from Algeria. I need good shoes for wide feet and support after my lower back surgery 6 months ago.
