Traxxas 5211R Roller Clutch Bearing Review

It does what it's supposed to do until it breaks. Both Traxxas and HPI have an issue with them as I have to keep some of these as spares. They aren't cheap either!

DO NOT BUY! You are a waste of time and money. They are also $10.89 more expensive than the good ones you can buy on EBay. To make the experience worse, you have to pay $6.99 to return these poor quality, insufficient bearings.

I was having trouble starting my tmaxx 2.5 so I bought it just in case. I removed the original, cleaned with WD40 and reinstalled and it's been running great ever since. In fact, after the bearing was cleaned, more fuel flowed through it than at the beginning of its action. Before you buy, I recommend taking what you have and cleaning it so you don't end up with a $15-20 part that you'll probably never need while sitting in a tool box like me.
