Works well on computer components

Works well now, Mac PC and laptop may have made setup difficult. Mouse/Keyboard not detected in dedicated ports, in universal port. Very picky about DVI adapter connections, doesn't recognize DVI displayport cables as adapters. Only DVI-I to HDMI adapter cables worked. I would assume that all DVI graphics cards and monitors would perform better.

Pros
  • Only positives
Cons
  • Almost everything included

What a waste for KVM switches

This KVM doesn't support DVI cables and I had to use HDMI to DVI adapters. This KVM does not support my Logitech G710+. This KVM hardly works as an overpriced monitor replacement. Their support staff is incredibly unhelpful. They didn't take the time to read my carefully worded and thought out support request and went straight to their pre-recorded scripts. Her only advice was that I buy more of her products. They didn't answer any of my questions and offered literally no support. This device…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Confusing

I think it's the best in this price range, but don't worry too much

This model is identical to the "Star Tech" model. I don't recommend spending a lot on them. I've had this model under both brand names and am disgusted to buy the second (TRENDnet) as I thought it could be better. What I am maroon. I'm a remote worker and need KVM for a dual monitor configuration - a work laptop and a home desktop. I use USB keyboard and mouse and DVI monitors. Pretty basic and not even the hottest technology. However, I have never managed to get my USB devices to work with…

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Does what it says on the tin

It's a bit big but does what I need it to do. It's a shame to have to say things like that, but this works great when I'm switching between my work computer and my everyday computer.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Bad instructions
