What a failure! - Router

This router worked fine until after a few weeks of use it started turning off the WiFi for no reason. I always had to restart it when I got home from work to have wifi. Several checks of the settings, which I didn't overly interfere with, proved useless as to the cause of the daily Wi-Fi disconnects. The weird thing is I have 300Mbps to replace and it works great. There might be something wrong with the hardware or firmware, but since I'm not a techie I couldn't investigate.

Trendnet N150 Router

The router is great but the manufacturer had some trouble getting it connected because the agent wanted to charge us for keeping the router connected to it. After the second attempt to contact the manufacturer, the router connected successfully without charging us for assistance. There seems to be a problem with this manufacturer's customer service department with their facts regarding the connection of their products as one agent wanted to charge us a fee and another gave us all the help we…

It can't get any better if the price is right

This Atheros SOC is excellent. The included firmware is a bit sparse. The system works reliably, OpenWRT AttitudeAdjustment works. Prebuilt firmware with LuCI WebUI can be found in the following thread: [.] (Search DD-WRT forum for t=165450). I calculated that with an average electricity cost of 0.8, this router would cost me less than $1/year. Tue

Quick and easy installation at a great price

I was looking for a simple and affordable router for my office to replace my ISP's router. My friend recommended the N150 router to me for its price and open source compatibility. He said open-source communities are developing new software or firmware that could add additional functionality to the router. I haven't searched the forums for what's available for this router. But for now it seems I don't need to update this router as I haven't had any issues so far. Installation went smoothly, I…
