As a girl I was a bit hesitant to buy online. I've personally tried small helmets and they fit me a little loose which I don't think should be, but they don't make the XS look that way. this one is perfect for me! Nice padding on the inside that doesn't fall apart or lose support, although I've probably put them on and off for riding about 15 times now. I really like the clip instead of the usual chin strap loop. Lightweight with ventilation holes. does the job.

I bought one for my son last week and he was so impressed he bought another to go with my current helmet to replace. The second one I received wasn't up to the same standards as the first. The matte black body had scratches and scuffs, the rubber nosepiece was glued on but half was coming loose, the side panels were dangling like they'd just fallen into a box. When I received the helmet I immediately noticed that the inner padding/mesh on the upper had already fallen out. The entire interior of the helmet was unassembled and I had to reassemble the padding. The only good thing I liked was the chin strap and how easy it was to attach. I have just bought a used bike and realized that my last bike was over 10 years ago and I need a new helmet. The price is right for this helmet and it passed the DOT ratings. The vents work as expected, but they don't feel like shoes or shoes that open easily. It may use a few more or even more vents, although that's enough for your weekend rider. I bought this helmet for my wife for the 1800 mile trip to Pikes Peak and a round trip through Colorado. This is for every rainy day. As you can see in the picture, insects and the weather can make a big difference in the course of our trip. I don't have photos of the helmet but we kept them with some cargo nets just behind the front fender. You can see mine on the driver's side (that's the plaque) kept in the pocket.
