Description of Triax Atlas 600 Grease: Full Synthetic High-Temp NLGI-2, Heavy-Duty Ultra High Performance - 10 Tube Pack

Outstanding performance for virtually all applications: high temp wheel bearings, disk brake wheel bearings, U-joints, couplings, severe service high loads, continuous water contact, and 5th wheels. Flawless operation in temperatures from - 40F up to 400 F for continuous operation; high dropping point of 550 F. Unmatched, high adhesion to metal components; stays in place in the most extreme service; virtually waterproof. Will not shear, separate, or liquefy; state-of-the-art additive pack for excellent corrosion inhibition, the optimal flow rate in grease pumping systems, and to maintain cohesion under severe stress and shock loading. One grease for almost everything with the highest performance rating for nearly all applications.

Good synthetic lubricant.

I bought this to use on my SXS because I wanted something that wouldn't wash off. Time will tell but I did the wheel bearings, suspension, universal joints and carrier bearing.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Perfect for 2016 and older 3rd generation Tacoma trucks

I have this for my 2016 Tacoma TRD-OFFROAD 4x4 and I can tell you I can feel the difference when I dry it 🌮. I used to use Valvoline multipurpose lube and got it wrong. I definitely recommend this for 3rd gen Tacoma 4x4 trucks.

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Legacy model

Failing expectations

Used on a boat trailer that tows large boats. This product is used on two wheels. On the other two wheels I used Mercury Marine Extreme Grease. synthetic triax was 135 degrees

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not bad

Only fully synthetic grease is suitable for wheel bearings

I have used this grease when installing new wheel bearings on my trailer and love the fact that it is virtually waterproof. I've been using synthetic lube for about 30 years and have never had a bearing failure.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Fragile

Disappointing expectations

Used on a trailer to transport large boats, used this product on two wheels, on the other two wheels I used Mercury Marine Extreme grease, the temperature difference was 35 degrees Mercruiser grease - 100 degrees and the synthetic triax 135 degrees.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

So far, so good. in Lubricants

I can't attest to how good this grease is in the short term. I REALLY got my lube. The package was clean inside and out. Each cartridge was sealed as well or even better than I could ever hope for. There was no grease stain anywhere, neither on the new cartridge nor on the box. The cartridges also fell straight into the oiler. I don't want them to fit in! (other brand)

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Modern

heat resistant. in Greases

After I had the bearing boxed up and installed I had to weld next to the rail. Cool with a wet rag, but I wanted to check the lube's ability to hold and not sizzle like butter in a pan. After welding 1/2 inch the grease remained. Didn't move. No hissing, no gravity falling. This is a 3 kW wind generator that had been in operation for 16 years prior to this restructuring. The lubricant fully corresponds to the declared designation. I would estimate the race came close to 600F. There were 4 3/4"…

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price
