Works perfectly! - Electrical

After installing LED taillights on my '96 Chevrolet Silverado, my right turn signal stopped working. EP29 installed, everything works now. At 96, the turn signal is located under the dash to the left of the brake pedal.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • Long

Great for turn signals

Breaks the hype around LED turn signals and turn signals on a 2001 Tahoe. The resistor is still needed on the front turn signal with some LEDs to work properly with the front parking lights. This is a specific issue with the LED bulb, not the turn signal. Low price. Ease of installation.

Pros
  • Good cause
Cons
  • No insurance

Didn't work as planned.

This blinker didn't help anyone with a quick flash on my 2001 Silverado. I was sure that he would solve this problem, but it didn't. I've seen other trucks like mine have these turn signals take care of this problem. Not sure if it's that specific brand or what? I took a risk and it didn't work out for me.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Negative is available

Tridon EP29 Flasher

Flasher worked as described. I have LEDs in my front turn signals and they flashed quickly before I installed a Tridon EP29 strobe light. Worked great. Installation on a 2002 Chevy Silverado took about 2 minutes. (Behind the step strip under the steering wheel. Located on the back of the fuse box.) If you're not a mechanic, follow the instructions on the first poster and you're on your way.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Not bad

Great flasher relay for LED setup

I bought two of these to replace my RE Himalayan after the standard relay got a bit dusty. My bike had traditional halogen lights, but I bought some LEDs and installed an LED taillight with turn signals built in. The pinout was easy to see as I had to rewire the relay to my existing loom, but it worked. I was concerned that it would be cheap and would fail fairly easily, but these relays proved amazing.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I bought this item for my truck because all the reviews swore it would fit the 2001 Silverado 2500HD with no problem. Many of these turn signals are too large to fit in a truck without minor modifications to the wiring harness (trimming the plastic). Looking for a video showing where the old one is so I can install it I was worried it was too small (ALL the videos showed an item almost 4 times bigger than this). Now that I've installed LEDs all over my truck, I can make sure the item fits…

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Compatibility

Buy EP29N for LED instead

When I installed this flasher relay EP29, the LED bulbs were still flashing excessively. I then bought a Tridon EP29N from my local auto parts store and it fixed the problem, now the LEDs are flashing at the same rate as the bulbs. EP29 only says "electronic" on the front and EP29N specifically says it's for LED. So if you want to fix the Hyperblitz, buy the N version instead! If you have a Circa 2001 Chevy/GMC SUV and cannot locate the turn signal module, it is located on the back of the fuse…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Annoying
