We use this cushion on our Tripp Trapp and love it. Not only does my son get messy when he eats solid foods (come on, all babies do), but cleaning is now a breeze because we just take the pillow off and toss it in the washer/dryer and THAT YES. Everything is clear. Seriously, a worthwhile purchase for parents.

The idea with them is great from an adult perspective, but my kid doesn't care about rats if they're on or off! They get dirty, have you ever seen a baby eat? And they are really annoying to put on and take off! It's not worth it at all! We don't even use ours anymore! Too much hassle and these days I'm all about minimizing the hassle!

Although it is cute and comfortable for my child to sit on, the seat cushion design is incredibly poor. You will need to loosen the screws on the chair to be able to remove the shell portion of the high chair to fit the crotch portion through the cushion. So you have to do this every time you need to throw it in the laundry. And for a child learning to eat, that's totally normal! It's so annoying!

The top was quite difficult to put on our new chair, for the money I paid I wish it would fit better. I'd say it's more for a mount you can add to the seat than just more padding on the rear real wood bars if that makes sense. probably wouldn't pay that much at once and if i were to get another one i would take the one that isn't light gray because my baby got dirty in the first few weeks and it hasn't come out yet. probably choose multicolored or darker colors.
