🚪 Enhanced TRIXIE Electromagnetic Pet Door for Convenient Access Control Review

This door works great! It took my cat a few days to figure out how to use it, but it works very well. I love the fact that there is no battery to worry about. I installed it in my garage door and it keeps other neighborhood cats from coming in to eat and mark the area. I had to use 4 small spacers on screws to work in my particular case but the door works as it should.

My cat figured the door out almost immediately and the clicking doesn't bother him at all. I love how he keeps other cats and animals out of my apartment. I saw another neighbor's kitten try to get in but couldn't because of the magnet. I'd love to see this come back on Prime as it's a great door at an amazing price! I installed it in the window with a piece of glued timber and placed it in the window frame with some foam. That works great.

Works properly. This replaced the previous cat door (15 year old, PetMate brand) which was broken by raccoons; The plastic flap on this door is slightly heavier. This door is a bit larger, but the 3-piece construction protects the wood we cut through very well (the old one was less airtight and there was a lot of dirt and cat hair in the base). One cat learned to use the door right away, while another took several days to learn how to put its head through the door rather than just its paws…
