Description of Troubleshoot Ford 6.0L Engine With Vincool High Pressure Oil Rail Pump Leak Test Kit

Pair of pressure testing adapters for the high pressure oil pump which drives the injectors. High Quality CNC Machined from Billet Brass. Built to provide exceptional levels of durability. Allows observation of the High Pressure Oil System's Injector Control Pressure (ICP) by direct gauge connection, and facilitates testing of the High Pressure Oil System for leaks using shop air. The fuel line connection changed in 2004 - so the two adapters give you the capability to address either platform for pressure testing. At vincool, we sincerely provide the best products and service for our customers. Any questions you have, please feel free to contact vincool support team. We will get you back within 24 hours.

FAILED! DO NOT BUY.

I bought this to test for oil leaks on my ford 6.0 engine. but the second time install the adapter into the oil rail the threads literally fell off. The metal this adapter is made from is much to fragile. I did not use any more force than to just barely squeeze the o-ring (to make airtight seal, which is necessary). I was lucky that none of the threads fell into the oil rail. If they had, this defective part could have caused hours of work trying to get the metal shaving out or worse hundreds…

Pros
  • Okay
Cons
  • They worked ok, replace the orings with quality ones made for high pressure and they are 5 star material
