Easy to use, accurate and stable

This replaces Lyman's digital scale which wanders and is very difficult to get reproducible results. The Lyman scale had to warm up for at least 30 minutes (more when it was cold) before it stabilized, and even then it fluctuated between 0.2 and 0.3 grains. The Marksman scale stabilizes within 30 seconds and, once calibrated, remains so throughout the charging session. It's such a pleasure to use compared to the Lyman.

Pros
  • Like everything is still
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Maybe you have better luck

The price was right, but the product is very demanding. Sometimes it works great, other times it throws an error and isn't happy wherever it is. I calibrated as instructed but the error was 10 grains. Thank god I had other scales to check the grain. It is very dangerous to have an inaccurate loading bar. I recalibrated it a second time after the problem. Since then he has weighed normally, but I lost confidence that he would remain faithful. I don't want my face blown off because of the wrongโ€ฆ

Good scale but problem

I am changing my original review. As I said in my original review, the scale is very accurate and consistent. It comes with a very nice box that protects the scale and keeps the accessories very safe. I had a question about how my scale works, the seller responded very quickly and answered my question to my satisfaction. While I really liked the scale, the issue with the tare button constantly not working made me return it. I would still recommend this scale based on its accuracy andโ€ฆ

Cheap scales are not accurate enough

Over the years I have bought several inexpensive electronic scales. Apparently, my expectations of this scale are just unrealistic. Like most others, this scale will show different readings as you lift and replace the powder tray. Normally the deviation is 0.2 grains or less, but sometimes it may differ by 0.3 grains. It's no different than most other scales I own. I would have kept it, but after a few days it started showing "Lo" on the screen. Nowhere in the manual does it say what "Lo"โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Dangerously incompatible for reloading scales

Dangerously incompatible for a product sold to reload scales with tiny powder sizes. The first one I bought was completely inaccurate - multiple grains of different weights of the same item over and over again, it "stabilized" and after a few seconds randomly dropped 0.3-0.6 grams. Got it against a second one Traded in scales which worked better but I would still get a 1.0 grain difference per 3-20g drop of powder which can be disastrous for reloading lighter powder cartridges (pistol, 300blx).

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Has flaws
