Use some common sense

Tuffy's make really good toys.We have quite a few of them. People need to understand that their products have different durability ratings. Also, understand that nothing is indestructible. My dogs eat the tops off of Kongs. They still have to be taken away when a dog decides that its time to "kill" it. I can't leave them unattended with these either, but Tuffy's are strong enough to allow them to play quite rough with them, and gives me a few minutes to catch them before they destroy it, when…

Pros
  • Vet recommended and approved
Cons
  • May not have enough appeal to distract dogs from destructive behaviors

Three Stars in my review

really liked the toy but my 8 month old australian shepherd had the stuffing out in 40 minutes-disappointed Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Had this for about 8 months and my boxer has yet to tear it. She usually tears through any other brand.
Cons
  • Can be too heavy for smaller dogs

Hands down my cattle dog's favorite toy. Pretty sturdy - eventually he chews through but not before playing with for at least a month. He just loves the football shape - fits great in his mouth, he does not need a squeaker (I appreciate that!), and he plays and plays with it - dragging it around the house, tossing it in the air, and chasing it when I toss it. I purchase a bunch at a time so he is never without. Good toy.

Pros
  • Appropriate for small to medium-sized dogs
Cons
  • May not have enough appeal to distract dogs from begging for human food

very few toys can withstand the wrath of my Bully, but this has become his favorite toy, and it is still completely intact minus a few lose threads from time to time. i have been completely amazed with how this has held up to his abuse, and i will be buying more Tuffy products in the future!

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May not provide enough variety in texture for dogs

Our dog's new favorite toy!

My wife and I recently got the Odd Ball as a toy for our dog. He's a bit fussy with his toys, preferring fuzzy things like tennis balls over hard rubber items. He doesn't have a destructive tendency, but he has torn up a few cheap squeaker toys. Although we've only had the Odd Ball for a couple nights now, so far he LOVES it! He's about 50 pounds and what I would consider a medium-large sized dog. He can pick this up with his mouth, but not easily. This is a good thing. it gives him a little…

Pros
  • Tuff Scale rating of 8
Cons
  • May not have enough give for interactive play

Very strong and well built dog toy.

Tuffy dog toys are amazing. Our jack russel like to play ruff with toys. Tuffy dog toys are so we'll build that out dog can play with them everyday for months before we think they might need replaced and then we have some that are well over 2 years old that get played with of course still going strong.

Pros
  • Just purchased this. Very big size toy. My German Shepherd seems to be well pleased.
Cons
  • Dog love it but got busted open quick from playing hard with the dog

Cute and fun for indoor pup play

The only improvement that I would like to see in this adorable tuff toy is a squeaker! My playful AussieBorder collie loves squeaker toys but she likes this inside the house for rainy day "chase me" games.

Pros
  • These are the best toys ever my dog chews up everything and this toy is still all intact
Cons
  • maybe for a big big dog my beagle cross doesnt enjoy this toy
