Aggressive chewers best in my review

She love the lamb and pig that we got her! They have already lasted a month.Nothing we have purchased since she was a puppy has held up this long. I highly recommend tuffy dog toys!

Pros
  • B001D6Y7GS
Cons
  • Not suitable for indoor play as it may damage furniture

We have the Tuffy shark and that is still around so we thought we'd try the pig. First - this pig is HUGE! It's hilarious to watch the puppy carry it around. He is shared by two very tough "chewers" who like to play tug with their toys. 85lb retriever and a 55lb 5 month old lab puppy. Tuffy toys seem to the the only things that keep the pup from damaging shoes/furniture, etc and last through rough play.12/3/16 - It is just about a month since the pig was purchased and he is no more :(…

Pros
  • The soft exterior of the Barnyard Pig provides a comfortable and inviting texture for your dog to play with, encouraging them to engage in play more frequently
Cons
  • The toy may not be as tug-resistant as advertised

Was not tough enough

Our Lab/Rott mix had it torn and stuffing out of it in about a week. I was really hoping it would last longer. The toy may not be as durable as advertised!

Pros
  • With its soft exterior and rugged interior, the Barnyard Pig design provides the perfect combination of comfort and durability
Cons
  • The toy may not be as durable as advertised

Only Kind of Toughy

The toys were tough and lasted through some intense play times. My GSP loved them, but ate through the heads in about two weeks. They are now in the trash.

Pros
  • TUFFY toys can help provide your dog with the mental stimulation and exercise they need to stay healthy and happy
Cons
  • Not suitable for dogs who prefer harder toys

Durable for any size!

I have an English Mastiff and these toys are great! This is my second Tuffy toy. I still have the other one (have had it for years). But, it was getting a little rough so I got my baby a new one. Love they come in XL sizes as my dog is 200lbs and everything can be a choking hazard. Love our new piggy!

Pros
  • With its colorful, playful design and long-lasting construction, TUFFY toys provide endless entertainment and satisfaction for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages
Cons
  • May not live up to its reputation as the "world's tuffest" soft dog toy

Durable but big and heavy

Such a cute toy but it heavy to be carried around easily! Very durable and fun! I’m thinking of buying the smaller one for my dog nephew who is a chewer and likes to strut around w/ his toy toys!

Pros
  • The Barnyard Pig design allows for a variety of different play styles, including gentle fetch, rigorous tug-of-war, and even solo chew time
Cons
  • May not be as interactive as advertised

They work for our dog

If your dog is a BIG chewer like ours, well then no toy will last forever. These work for our dog for about 4-8 weeks. As she gets older they seem to last longer. It also depends on how often a tug-of-war happens with the other dog in the house. They each have their favorite, and "usually” stick to that one, but sometimes I guess they just gotta dog.

Pros
  • Toys
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other soft dog toys

Nothing is indestructible, but does a great job

Holds up shockingly well for a softer toy. If your dog is just a chewer this will last forever. It took a while just for one of them to take down the ear. We have two dogs it took the both of them playing tug of war to make a rip in this one.

Dogs Love 'em: my feedback

Simply put, these are the toughest toys on the market. We have at least 6-7 of these toys and they've helped my very mouthy Heelers get through young dog stages. This particular pig got opened up in about two days by my youngest pup. He thoroughly enjoyed gutting the new stuffing out of this fat swine over the course of about 5 days. And kudos to Tuffy brand for switching to a more animal-safe cotton stuffing as opposed to the stringy poly stuff they used to use (you can see some in my…

Pros
  • The Barnyard Pig is made with tough and durable materials that can withstand even the most rambunctious play, helping to reduce the need for frequent toy replacements
Cons
  • The toy may not be suitable for all ages of dogs
