🍝 Clear Spaghetti Dispenser with Black Seal by Tupperware Review

It is difficult to open and close. I'm sure it's incredibly airtight but it's a terrible design, I expected more from Tupperware.

The small plate that fits on top of the portion control container is useless. It keeps falling out when you try to take out the noodles, causing all the noodles to fall out.

That was a year ago. Decided to replace. The black cap is a bit difficult to put on but I like it. I rinsed the lid with hot water and put it on. It seems to have worked.

Weak. Probably won't last long. Portion control does not persist. Upper Sticks. The plastic is much thinner than my last one. Tupperware isn't the same anymore. Only buy if you don't have better storage for spaghetti.

They made it much harder to use than it needed to be. The small insert inside that gives you a portion or two is difficult to insert. Also, the lid is not only pressed, but must be pressed with a tongue at a certain point. Why? The size holds just over 16 ounces of spaghetti.

Outstanding spaghetti container. I can fit 2 16oz boxes in it. Keeps them fresh and protects against mistakes. A piece that helps divide the pasta into a portion or two is fine. It works, you just have to be careful when you pour out the pasta, sometimes this piece falls out and then the pasta is everywhere. I don't use this part for this reason, but it won't affect the storage capacities of the container. I still use the pasta storage container.

I am surprised that this is actually a Tupperware product. The materials are quite strong, but the spaghetti insert is difficult to insert into the hole and then easily slips out. A real lid that keeps things fresh is very difficult to take off and put back on...

I love this spaghetti dispenser. My mom bought this in the 60's and even then I thought it was a great storage idea and a great way to easily share a certain amount of pasta. I recently saw this little guy at my mom's and thought he would be perfect for me. I found and bought it and I can tell you it's the same quality product as it was 40 years ago. If you are a single person or have a small family this is what you need. I highly recommend this dispenser.
