installed them at a Ford dealer and although they were able to put them on they don't fit properly and the boots keep losing air.

Before installation, ensure that the pipes are free of metal filings. My kit contained about 8 tablespoons of shavings stuck in various places in tubes suspended in what appeared to be dried fat.

this is a decent product. my only complaint is that it fits on the cold side to do a really good wash to remove metal shavings. The boots seem to be of decent quality, we'll see if the heat changes over time, the cleats are surprisingly good.

Incorrect installation resulting in airbox/filter mismatch. Had to cut 2 inches of the top end that meets the intake manifold. The boot clips were also wrong, well 1 was wrong. I was sent 1 which was too big but the rest was 'ok'. You get what you pay for, but they save on materials by making it better and a little shorter. I'll let her go now, but I'm not holding my breath

The item I received had aluminum shavings inside the intercooler on the intake manifold. And not just a few. Several hundred small chips were left behind in the production process. If I installed this without removing the chips it would crash. The quality of the product is decent and the installation is pretty good, but the possibility of someone ruining their engine by installing it without cleaning it is a big concern.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Don't waste money. The welds are absolute rubbish, looks like someone tried to use a deep cycle battery welder while their blind friend was assembling parts for it. Metal shavings on both tubes, polishing is awful and inconsistent. I didn't even try to fit them. I've read the reviews and realized how bad they are and seen some people make them work, but my goodness these things aren't even worth the junk they're made of. Definitely not recommend.

As others said they come packaged with aluminum shavings to clean I tied a string to a microfiber cloth and dealt with it fairly quickly. The hot side fits perfectly, the cold side sticks out too far from the inlet and doesn't fit my inlet. Also, a couple of the clamps were bent, but I used the factory clamps so it didn't matter. I'm actually very impressed with the quality of the boots, they look better than the stock ones but we'll see how they perform.

We called and got prices for fitting it to my husbands truck but the amount of money they wanted to charge us was CRAZY! My husband has worked on many gas burners but rarely on diesel. We couldn't afford to take his truck to the shop to install this part, so we looked around Revain and found the part we needed.
