    Works perfectly. - Antennas

    Arrived with a slight crack in the boom where it was bent. This isn't a problem for me as I just added some super glue and a short strip of black tape to reduce further tears if I drop it or something hits it. The antenna works as it should.

    Fits great and noticeably extends the range

    At first glance it looks solid. It fits great and comes with something like a gasket for the base. When I removed my shorter antenna it didn't have a gasket so I didn't use it on the new one. The antenna bends in any direction and stays in that position. So far it has extended my range to about a mile through dense forests and residential areas.

    It flexes but doesn't stay bent

    This antenna has a foldable top but I'm not sure what it does as it doesn't stay in a flexed position. If it had stayed in a crouched position I would have seen the benefit of a longer antenna on a portable ham while still being portable. I've noticed a slight improvement in range, it doesn't seem to pick up as much interference internally which improves reception.

    Broken and broken. for CB and talkback radios

    Ordered and returned due to broken plastic antenna base over flex shaft. I have just (5:26 4/17/20) received a replacement product and it is broken in the same place. What I've seen hasn't affected reception, but I'm not sure about the longevity of the antenna. Rain will certainly enter the manhole and cause corrosion and premature failure. I will order another style.

    Such tactics - antennas

    Sorry, could not resist the name. Really nice little antenna. I got it for the ability to change the angle, my little baofeng sits at about a 30 degree angle so I wanted the antenna to be vertical for better transmission. He holds his position well as long as he's not bent over too far. A little stiffer to hold the position better wouldn't hurt. In general, I am satisfied, without any problems, getting out of the jeep and getting into the repeater for APRS.

    Really great reception why make it flexible

    I have compared this antenna to several other antennas from a few different radios. This is a very solid performer. It offered excellent reception on all the antennas I compared it to. In fact, it's so much better that after testing it, I found that one of my antennas had just failed, so I threw it away. I am very happy with this antenna. just one thing Why is it bendable? This adds some weight to the antenna, which I don't think outweighs the overall benefit. I mean I should have given this…

    Uniquely designed 144/430MHz antenna satisfies the need for a flexible wireless antenna

    The TWAYRDIO TW-771D antenna is approximately 3½ inches shorter than the Nagoya NA-771 antenna it was intended to replace. as I was hoping when accessing my local relays. There is a repeater about 15 miles away in a densely populated area that has a ham radio networking group that I wanted to be a part of. I can currently set up the repeater with the Nagoya antenna, but the high level of noise in my signal is preventing people from hearing what I'm saying. When I bought the new TWAYRDIO TW-771D

    Handy, light-duty tactical antenna

    Handy, light-duty tactical antenna I bought this antenna for my scanner that comes with the bug pouch. We've had wildfires in the area that came very close and I've found that the quickest and most reliable way to find out what's going on is to dial in the correct frequencies. For this application, the antenna won't make much of a difference. From what I understand the original concept was to wear it on the back with an extension to raise the antenna for longer range.
