Works well but definitely not as wide as pictured. The first night you could feel the end of a mattress causing it to move. The mattresses stay together and the bed is comfortable but I can say it's just 2 mattresses tied together and other reviews of this or other bridges sound like they hide it much better. I'm ok with that and will see if I can tweak it to fix it. If so, I'll update the review.

I know, I know, I should have listened to millions of other reviews saying the same thing, but to be honest I just couldn't find anything better and took a chance. It does not matter. Well, except maybe a bigger gap because it pushes between two mattresses when sleeping. Yes, the strap holds mattresses together, but my bed frame did it anyway. I was looking for something to fill the gap in the middle. It does NOTHING.

Unfold the foam core, straighten it and let it unload for a few days. Having an extra pair of hands for installation makes it faster and easier. After installation, you know nothing of it on the mattress. I use it with double spring mattresses on two wooden bases that simply slide together. Once the strap is tightened, I cover the bed with large sheets and I'm good to go. This makes the guest room more versatile.
