🛠️ Twin Power 12-0562 Oil Filter Cutting Tool Review

It took me a while to choose this tool over all the others but I'm glad I didn't buy the more expensive one because the Motorcraft FL1 filter comes with it lightness works.

I don't need this very often so I searched for the best reviews at a decent price and settled on this one. It worked great and is a good product for the price.

Extra heavy tank-like design. Doesn't bend or bend. Secure it in a vise to hold it in place. Then insert the oil filter. Then turn. Before you start rolling, put a thick cloth underneath. The oil stuck in it comes out.

Couldn't find any replacement blades. Well designed and constructed and easy to use but: Although the cutting wheel appears to be replaceable I couldn't find it. Although Reed R4546 or Ridgit E-4546 were slightly smaller in diameter I figured they would work until I realized the pin diameter was too small to fit. I spent hours trying to find a spare tire before I gave up. When purchasing, please note that this is a non-replaceable cutting roller. For this reason I cannot recommend it.

Received my item today. Wow! I am very surprised by the good fit and finish, excellent quality, good materials and finish. Has good weight. All steel construction, 3/8 combustible steel plate and double sealed roller bearings. They turn very well. I could repair this item (even if I needed to) as most of the parts are bolted on or use steel set screws. I would have to open many filters to wear out this article. The cutting wheel is interchangeable and seems to be the standard size you can find.
