So far, so good. Fits starters and alternators

Direct replacement for 2006 325i. It seems to run faster than OEM. Sounds almost like a diesel starter. The positive power wire nut is pretty cheap so I used the one on the original starter. A very tedious replacement process, but one that will save you a lot of money. Good starter at a good price. In a direct physical comparison to a factory BMW unit I would say it's just as well made. The casting was smooth and precise. The fit into the starter hole on the bell housing was tight and precise. Electrical connectors went straight into the money. Most importantly, this unit is 100W more powerful than the OEM unit! Since my factory BMW starter failed at 77,000 miles (!) I'm not sure BMW units are anything special. In fact, after disassembling my OEM unit that…
