Failed Me Miserably

Based on my experience, this starter did not deliver the performance that I was hoping for. While it did work for a short period of time, it failed me miserably within a few months of installation. The only positive aspect was the initial effectiveness, but it did not last. The cons include its unreliability and the hassle of having to replace it so soon after purchase. Do not waste your money on this product.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Pricier compared to some of its competitors

Installed on a 2009 Infiniti G37

This is a great replacement if your starter motor fails. The starter at Auto Zone and OReillys was $409.99 and $399.99, which is overkill. This item was well packaged and looks like OEM Hitachi. I should have a basic understanding of car mechanics, but the installation is pretty easy and took about 2 1/2 hours. Save money and give it a try.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts

  • Repair

Not only does it outperform my original OEM starter with faster starting, it sounds fantastic. I had the most difficult time removing and putting it back on my 2012 Infiniti G37 IPL coupe (3.5 hours). Don't give up if you want to do it yourself or help someone replace them. Now it all started when I heard a "CLICK" behind the
