Great for 6 speed RX8

Perfect for OEM I had to look around to find a cooler without a transmission cooler for my MT RX8. Has been running for over a month now, no leaks.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • small things

Great value replacement for RX8

Perfect match for my 2004 Mazda RX8. Don't think of this as an easy task though, as replacing a heatsink in an RX8 is a very difficult task, but if the replacement part fits exactly as intended, things will go much more smoothly.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Only available in white

It's not a performance cooler, but when mine broke I...

This is not a power heater but when mine broke I needed one fast and it was so cheap it was under $80 even with one day shipping. My friends and I installed it over the weekend and everything was fine and I had no problems. No leaks.

Pros
  • Great!
Cons
  • No instructions

Low price but you get what you pay for

Not sure if the one I got was defective but it started leaking when I put it in your RX8. I crimped the metal at the leak with pliers and that seemed to help. After the car started and warmed up, the problem was solved. I recommend testing before installation.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Good factory replacement

Like everyone else I changed the expansion tank and that stupid plastic cap on top of the radiator crumbled and snapped off. So I bought these as a replacement. Fits as expected and there were no problems. Don't plan on keeping the car for more than a few years or I'd buy an upgraded aluminum.

Pros
  • Nice job
Cons
  • No power

Worthy spare part at a good price

The product came fairly quickly and the cooler was bought to replace the factory original. It is worth noting that the upper tank of the factory radiator crumbled at the inlet pipe, to which the filler hose is connected, as a result of which the coolant splattered all over the front of the car. When unboxing the TYC heatsink it was nice to see the fan shroud mounting nuts and top brackets in the heatsink mounts, a nice touch. So why 4 stars? Because the steel and aluminum parts of the cooler…

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Secret
