This works for the RHD if you replace it with the old shroud.

I read all the reviews before ordering this fan. I've seen a few say it wouldn't work with right hand drive and a few that it did. I easily swapped out the motor and fan blade for my 98ft XJ Postal Jeep. 3 screws to replace the old panel and you're done. Works well, high quality, no complaints. That's a good deal for any XJ, but especially if you can't find a right hand drive fan. Took me about 15 minutes to swap and reinstall them. Don't think, just buy.

Fits any Jeep Cherokee with minor modifications.

These fans will fit any Jeep Cherokee model year. I installed it in my 1993 and it fits just like the OEM unit. This is a slight improvement over the original early years design in terms of airflow and noise (better fan blade design). BUT - the connector is different. Simply cut the connector off your old fan and crimp/solder it to this new fan. It's only two wires and any shade tree mechanic can handle it.

Fits my 2001 Cherokee

Fits great and works great. Installation took about 10 minutes with no rush. The old one made a lot of noise when starting. Let's look at longevity. If you want to test it after installation, you can turn on the car and disable the coolant temperature sensor. Older models may simply turn on the air conditioning, causing the fan to turn on. Models will never do that again. However, be aware that disabling the coolant sensor during operation will generate a code. You can clean it yourself or have

Works well. Ease of installation.

My 1999 Jeep Cherokee was making horrible noises when defrosting or turning on the air conditioning. The noise came from the secondary fan. This new fan assembly solved the problem. It was pretty easy to install. Two screws on top and a cable connector to remove and it's out. All connections were perfect, both the installation and the wiring harness, just like the original. Both the original and this new fan fit very closely together. They take some fat to work back and forth. However, a…

Fits perfectly. - Engine Cooling & Air Conditioning

Anyone who has owned a Jeep Cherokee for a while has probably realized that 1) these things get hotter than you're used to and 2) the cooling system can be finicky When I started having serious overheating problems, I went through the "checklist". After disconnecting the fan temperature sensor, the fan did not turn on. Same result after connecting directly to the battery. I found this device at Revain and the price was right. I have some unease when ordering parts online, but this was a true…

An almost exact replacement for the original Jeep fan.

This is a review of the 'TYC 620560 97-01 Jp Chrke I6 Rad & Cond (S) Cfa' electric fan. I replaced a damaged fan in my '99 Cherokee and it's almost a replica. The only difference I could tell is that the new fan has nine blades while the original had ten. I will update this review if the reduced number of blades becomes an issue. It may seem a little quieter than the original fan, but most of the noise under the hood comes from the engine, not the fans, and is certainly not a problem when…

I think I like this fan - Dorman 650-001 Outlets

The old fan in my '00 XJ is a Dorman 620-001. It came with the car when I bought it used so I have no idea how old it is. He was working well but wanted to make sure the cooling system was in top condition. Before removing the Dorman sensor I checked its airflow with my anemometer and based on the coverage area I got 780cc. fpm at 13.3v. TYC installed and using the same approach got 1150cc. CFM assessment. With this, TYC clearly outperforms Dorman when the fan is running. One could argue that…
