Connector was too small for fan motors

The connector receptacle on this part is smaller than the stock part on my 2013 Honda Civic sedan. Teeth. I used duct tape to secure it in place. Everything else fits and works.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • High price

REFURB NOT NEW Best in Parts

This replacement fan makes just as much noise and squeaks as the one I took out of the car. It looks like the bearing has come loose. I'm pretty sure this is a refurbished one too as there are marks on the plastic case exactly where the wire connector clip goes so you can see it's been used before. • good stuff

Install went just fine for heating

Replaced an old fan motor in my car (do typical 8th and 9th gen click for civilian vehicles) and was intermittently faulty, I got this fan motor yesterday 8/25/19 and installed it the air conditioner blows better than before and no longer clicks! It's a little louder than the original, but not by much. I highly recommend this part!

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not trendy

Works perfectly! A little louder than OEM, but I .

Works great! A little louder than the OEM but I'm very happy with the performance and the price. Light enough to replace even a novice driver, but hard to get on a man my size. You will also need a torx wrench. T25, if I remember correctly, along with Philips. Two Phillips head, one on each end of the bracket, 3 torx screws on the rim and an electrical connector.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Disappear

She had an issue with no cold air when stopped

I bought this for my daughter's 2012 hybrid. She was having a no cold air problem when she was stopped and it had nothing to do with low freon levels. Installation took about 20 minutes as you need to remove the cable cover first. Honda, in its infinite wisdom, used Philips bolts instead of 8mm bolts. Once I figured it all out, the fan went in easily. I turned on the fan and my daughter was happy to see her air conditioner blowing cold air again. I didn't hear any loud noises from the fan.
