They are quite inconvenient to use I didn't like them I mean I might be but I wouldn't buy more if you hit the faucet there is no way around it

I had to strip the insulation off the 18 gauge to fit it in the plug. The connector had trouble breaking through the insulation of the 20 gauge wire, so I stripped that too. Which defeats the purpose of using this type of plug, hence 1 star for ease of use.

I should have known better than to think that this little plastic ball would replace other tried and true connection methods. I tried using them to connect some LED strips. A third of these resulted in circuits that failed on the first try, and in one case the connection caused a short circuit that melted the wires and could start a fire. Garbage.

Based on multiple reviews these connectors worked great. I plugged in a cordless phone and had to cut the power cord to fit through a hole in my desk. Bought both this and a similar one already attached. First uses this and the phone is connected. I used to use other welders, usually one wire at a time. This is ideal for two-wire conductors such as speakers, etc.

I've seen a couple of lever nut connectors but they were much smaller so seemed better to me. I put one on a pair of solid 20 AWG "bell wires". The clasps were difficult to close, but I managed with the help of a small pair of pliers. There will be a lot of rework in this project so I wanted to strip the wires as well. It's really tough and the connector gets damaged from all the prying eyes. I save that for other things.

These are perfect for 18ga butt splicing. a wire that I use in connection with installing low voltage lighting under the shelf with LED lighting. I first started out making automotive connections using crimps and shrink wrap. It worked well, but took a lot of time. these work great. Close it with pliers and you can feel every click as it closes. much quicker and easier and seems to work great - everything lit up when I was done.

I had a little trouble at first, but I figured out a few tricks and they work great. 1. Although it says "no stripping required," I've found that stripping 1/8" at the end increases success, especially with 16 or 18 gauge wire. And use needle nose pliers to get plastic rings with breaking out larger wires. The scissors just didn't work for me. 2. I used pliers to snap the ends shut. In general, I am satisfied with the functionality and material quality of these connectors. They are difficult to close and latch, but pliers solve this problem and the connectors don't break or snap. I found them difficult to open when intended to be wirelessly latched (and presumably when installed). My use case was installing LEDs in electrical boxes eight feet from the stairs.
