Rev Up Your Imaginary Race with the US Toy Racing Helmet Review

Helmet to wear just for fun with my 5 year old grandson's racing gear, not as a crash helmet which costs 5 times the price. Very nice.

It's made very cheaply and is just a few thin pieces of plastic that snap together. It's uncomfortable to wear, and mine arrived in a worn condition, even with a sticker partially erased.

This is practically a plastic mixing bowl with a visor. It will not stay still on my grandson's head because it is literally shaped like a bowl containing nothing resembling the shape of a human head. The strap is useless and does not break. If your baby's head isn't shaped like the bottom of a large mason jar, just skip that one.

I know I'm expecting $7 but they should have been $1. They are made of thin plastic and stick a barcode sticker directly onto the checkerboard sticker on the helmet. To remove it, he removes the chess board. Really stupid. They run true to size and are perfect for preschoolers. I just wish they were more thoughtful with the packaging.

I expected it to be a cheap helmet but for the price it's underpowered. Unfortunately, due to packaging, it arrived with a completely broken visor and a piece torn off at the front. It's pretty big for a baby's head, so I add some padding, remove/fix broken parts, and swap out the sharp parts. and a cheap plastic chin strap before I give it to my son to play with. The adjustable chin strap is not visible in the picture. I bought it for a 2 year old child so safety while playing is important. If I had known there was a tightening chin strap I probably wouldn't have bought it. I'm sure this is normal for an older child but it was worrying because they want to be fully 'dressed' but when ready will need help. So watch him at all times to make sure there is no tension as he tries to get her out of his head. something to consider for future purchases :)
