SHIT, just SHIT! - Air conditioner

The compressor works, but, as in many reviews, there is a clear problem with the bearing, as it squeaked from the start. I would come back but have postponed the project until next summer. my stupidity Do not buy this compressor.

Great. for air conditioning

Bolts directly onto the 5.9 Magnum engine. Works great although it didn't run out of screws, I had to run to the AutoZone and get some screws from the right section. If you need compressor hardware, remember that the two screws at the back are longer.

Made in China horrible noise right out of the box like a belt.

Made in China Terrible noise right out of the box, like a belt squeak. I ended up buying an idler and a new belt before sending this compressor back and bought a reman from Napa. Now there are no problems at all. Don't waste your money, it's garbage!

When I first ordered auto parts from Amazon, everything went like clockwork.

When I first ordered auto parts from Amazon, I saved $150 by ordering them here and got 2 days delivery, which I paid for but still came out $150 cheaper than elsewhere in Hawaii who gave me a very high price Price would recommend everyone to look for other parts on Amazon now! Also, it's pre-oiled and capped to prevent anything getting inside, in case you're wondering

Acceptably cool in Florida summer

Except during the worst of Florida summer months it doesn't seem to work as well as it should (which could be due to a fan and/or coolant problem, and not a compressor), this part has been working pretty well for 6-7 months now (knock stick). Uneducated, unprofessional company selling junk

This is NOT the correct supercharger for 2002 and earlier Dodge Rams. Female ports for compression lines are one and a half millimeters smaller. Whoever made and sold this along with many other Dodge parts never measured or researched actual Dodge part designs and specifications. There is no public transport where I live and it was a necessary element of my commute to work so the return process will mean I will miss work for weeks. Now I'm stuck with a $150 pulley.
